Your local community connection.
For residents of York Region and South Simcoe who are experiencing a mental health crisis, and their family or friends, York Support Services Network offers the Community Crisis Response Service, or 905-310-COPE.

By calling 905-310-COPE(2673), individuals are connected with a crisis response professional, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. The crisis worker will provide an immediate response in a variety of critical situations, including: depression, intensive feelings of distress, loneliness, anxiety or fear, thoughts of suicide, feelings of rage, hopelessness or despair.

We know that sometimes telephone support is not enough. We also offer the following services to help meet your needs:

- In-Person Support.
- Live Chat & Text Support. You can connect with us for support online at cope.yssn.ca via live chat or text us as 1-855-310-2673.
- Peer Support. You can connect with a crisis peer support worker who has been through a similar experience.
- A Safe Place To Stay. You can stay at our short-term crisis bed program for a safe, supportive space to help you through your crisis.
- Connecting To Other Services. We work with a variety of community partners and can refer you to other community based support services.
